Terms of use
Last updated 31 October 2026
These terms are between you and Stillkite Labs ("we"), which runs Plainly. By using the website or the app you agree to them. Questions: mayank@stillkitelabs.com.
What Plainly is
A practice tool. It measures how you speak — filler words, pace, pauses, hedging, structure, pronunciation — and gives feedback partly written by AI. Scores are estimates to help you practise, not a professional assessment, and the AI can be wrong.
Your account
You can take one full test without an account. Save your progress to keep results across devices. Keep your sign-in secure. You must be at least 16.
Free plan and Pro
- Free: one analysis a day, and your last 10 results.
- Pro: up to 40 analyses a day, full history and progress, and every practice mode.
- Web price: $12.99 per month or $79.99 per year, shown before you pay. Mobile prices are shown in the app store.
Free trial, renewal and cancelling
- New web subscribers get a 7-day free trial. We show the trial end date and the price before you start, and email you two days before it ends.
- If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and renews each period until cancelled.
- Cancel in two clicks from your account page, which opens the Dodo Payments billing portal. Choose "cancel at next billing date" to keep access until the period you paid for ends. Mobile subscriptions are cancelled in the store.
- Refunds are handled by Dodo Payments (web) or the store (mobile) under their policies. Deleting your account does not by itself refund a payment.
Fair use
Don't misuse the service: no automated or bulk use, no attempts to break limits or security, and no content you don't have the right to record. We may limit or close accounts that do.
Your content
Your recordings, transcripts and notes are yours. You let us process them only to run Plainly for you, as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
Plainly is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so here before it applies.
